Pierre-Olivier Simonard has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Pierre-Olivier started their career working at Jamendo, a start-up company, where they served as an IT programmer and analyst. Pierre-Olivier was responsible for integrating designs, developing and maintaining the website's central API. After that, they joined Intuitive Machine as an iOS Developer. Pierre-Olivier then moved on to Boursorama, the largest online banking website in France, where they worked on developing the iPad application. Pierre-Olivier also worked on open-source projects such as GrabKit, an iOS component that simplifies working with images from various social networks. Pierre-Olivier further expanded their expertise as an iOS Engineer at Euro Information Developpements / EID, where they handled the IT operations of several banks globally. Later, they served as a DevOps Data Engineer at IOAPPS, where they worked as an independent consultant on various projects involving DevOps, Python for Network Administration, and mobile development. Currently, Pierre-Olivier is working as a Data Engineer at Quansight.
Pierre-Olivier Simonard began their education in 2004 at the Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne, where they pursued a degree in Computer Sciences. Pierre-Olivier successfully completed their second year of studies in 2006. Following this, Pierre-Olivier continued their education at the same university and enrolled in their Web Development program. Pierre-Olivier spent the academic year 2006-2007 studying web development as a third-year student.

Before Quansight, he and others who joined him at Quansight helped Continuum get started and develop into Anaconda Inc. While creating a successful enterprise softwarecompany utilizing open source, their team at Quansight discovered business models that bridge open source communities with innovative companies and projects.Quansight grew out of Anaconda in order to facilitate broad community-led innovation and development in Machine-Learning and Data Science. They help their clients gain actionable, quantitative insights from their data, find and mentor talented engineers and scientists, and build technology, products, and services.
