Helen Hastings

Helen Hastings is an accomplished software engineer and founder with extensive experience in the technology industry. Currently serving as the Founder of Quanta since January 2023, Helen previously held multiple engineering roles at Affirm from September 2016 to February 2022, advancing from Software Engineer to Senior Staff Software Engineer. Early career highlights include developing a single page application at NerdWallet, contributing to Google's index-building system, and working on Virtual Reality environments at Stanford's Virtual Human Interaction Lab. Additional experience includes software engineering at VMware, where Helen contributed to the Network Virtualization Platform, and an internship at the Naval Research Laboratory focused on PDF decryption and malware analysis. Helen holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and attended the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
