Carl Wilkins

Carl L. Wilkins has extensive experience in the electric power industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Distribution at Quanta Technology since September 2008, where responsibilities include business development and providing consultative services in utility distribution planning and asset management. Prior to this role, Carl was Director of Utility Services at Advanced Energy Corp. from August 2000 to September 2008, overseeing consultative engineering and establishing business relationships with electric utility executives while managing the NC GreenPower renewable energy program. Carl’s earlier tenure at Progress Energy spanned over two decades, where the focus was on large commercial accounts, marketing, and technology research. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and has pursued further education, including a law course on corporate board diversity and a certificate in non-profit management from Harvard Business School.
