Santiago Mesa

Santiago Mesa is an experienced professional in the field of electrical power engineering, currently serving as an Associate in Digital Transformation at Quanta Technology, LLC since July 2023. Prior to this role, Santiago held the position of Staff Power System Engineer at Smart Wires Inc. from November 2019 to July 2023 and worked as a Planning Analyst at XM SA ESP from February 2007 to November 2019. Earlier in the career, Santiago was a Research Engineer at CIDET and served as an Energy Advisor at the Comisión de Regulación de Energía y Gas (CREG). Santiago holds a Master of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, as well as a Specialist degree in Electrical Power Transmission and Distribution and an Engineer’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.
