Michael Kramer

Michael Kramer has a strong background in scientific operations and development, with over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Michael is currently the Vice President and Head of Scientific Operations at Quanta Therapeutics, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Trevena, Inc. for six years, serving as Vice President of Scientific Operations and Alliance Management. From 2013 to 2017, Michael held roles of increasing responsibility at Trevena, including Senior Director and Director of Nonclinical Development. Before Trevena, they worked at Synergy Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as the Director of Nonclinical Pharmacology & Toxicology. Michael also gained experience in preclinical development and safety at Promedior, Inc., and Palatin Technologies, where they held various director-level positions. Michael began their career as a scientist at Neuron Therapeutics and Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. Overall, Michael brings a wealth of experience in scientific operations and leadership to their current role at Quanta Therapeutics.

Michael Kramer earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Penn State University, where they attended from 1986 to 1991. Michael then pursued further education at Drexel University, receiving their Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences from 1993 to 1996.
