Byron Shen

Byron Shen, PhD MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare and life sciences industry. Byron currently serves as the Director of Business Development for Quanterix, where they focus on strategic initiatives and partnerships in the oncology space. Prior to this, they worked at NeoGenomics Laboratories as the Associate Director of Pharma Services, overseeing product management and marketing for various biomarker testing modalities. Additionally, they have experience as a VC Investor, specializing in healthcare and life sciences investments. Before that, they held leadership roles at Velox Biosystems, serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Commercial Officer. Byron also worked as a Principal at Transpacific HealthTech Business & Investment Consulting. Furthermore, they have extensive international experience, including as the Managing Director of DSI China at Data Sciences International, Inc., and in R&D and international business roles at SurModics, Inc. and 3M. Byron Shen, PhD MBA, holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. Byron also obtained an MBA from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry at the University of Science and Technology of China.
