Mingwei Zhao

Mingwei Zhao has extensive work experience in the field of immunoassay development and laboratory services. They began their career at Harvard University as a Postdoc research fellow and Research Associate, where they conducted research on gene expression and immune response to virus infection. They then joined Quanterix Corporation as a Scientist, where they developed sensitive nucleic acid and immunoassays using SiMoA technology. Later, they became a Sr. Scientist, leading immunoassay development for various diseases. Currently, at Quanterix, Mingwei holds the position of Director, Lab Services, overseeing operations and managing relationships with external stakeholders. They also previously held the role of Principal Scientist/Director, Business Development APAC, utilizing their technical expertise and network to identify new business opportunities.

Mingwei Zhao earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Wuhan University in the years 1996 to 2000. Subsequently, they pursued a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at the Chinese Academy of Science, completing it from 2000 to 2005.
