Senior Director, Tissue Diagnostics Lab Services at Quanterix

Veronique Neumeister, MD has an extensive background in laboratory leadership and translational pathology. Veronique currently holds the position of Senior Director, Tissue Diagnostics Lab Services at Quanterix. Prior to this, they worked at Akoya Biosciences, Inc. where they held roles such as Senior Director, Advanced Biopharma Solutions and Laboratory Director, Contract Research Services. In these positions, they led multi-disciplinary teams, collaborated with biopharmaceutical companies, and played a key role in the development and validation of spatial biomarker assays. Before Akoya Biosciences, Dr. Neumeister worked at Indivumed Group as the Global Head of Collaborative Research, where they oversaw the establishment of a comprehensive cancer database and a US-based biorepository and pathology QC laboratory. Veronique also served as the Chief Quality Control Officer during their time at Indivumed Group. Earlier in their career, they held the role of Laboratory Director of a Translational Biomarker Lab at Yale University School of Medicine. In this role, they led a pathology-based research and clinical laboratory, focused on assay development and standardization, and had extensive experience with automated quantitative analysis platforms and imaging technologies.

Veronique Neumeister, MD completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Vienna, Austria from 1986 to 1992. Veronique then pursued residency training in General Surgery at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Vienna from 1992 to 1998. Following this, they completed a Fellowship in Internal Medicine at St. Elizabeth Hospital from 1998 onwards. Veronique also holds a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Breast cancer research and Biospecimen research from Yale University's School of Medicine, Department of Pathology, which they obtained from 2006 to 2013.
