Ben Houghton

Ben Houghton is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and analytics. Currently, Ben serves as the Head of Graph Data Science at Quantexa, leading a team of eight Data Scientists in developing innovative analytics products. Prior to this role, Ben held various positions at Barclays, culminating in a leadership role as Head of Data Science, where responsibilities included managing a team to tackle complex problems across payments through advanced analytics. Ben's career began with a credit risk analytics internship at Barclays and includes significant experience with big data technologies and open-source software advocacy. Ben completed a Master of Mathematics (MMath) degree at the University of Oxford, enhancing a strong analytical foundation from Sir William Borlase's Grammar School.
