Junior R&D engineer at Quantib

Nathalie Roos has experience working as a Junior R&D engineer at Quantib since February 2023. Before that, they worked as a Research Intern at Catharina Ziekenhuis from September 2022 to January 2023, where they developed and validated a deep learning model for the automatic segmentation of the prostate on 0.35T MR images. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Project at Maastricht UMC+ from May 2021 to June 2022, where they investigated the automatic segmentation of enlarged perivascular spaces in the brain related to Alzheimer's disease. Nathalie was involved in preprocessing the data for deep learning, training and fine-tuning the model, and post-processing the results.

From 2011 to 2017, they attended Gertrudiscollege for an unspecified degree and field of study.

Subsequently, from 2017 to 2020, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology.

Following their undergraduate studies, Nathalie Roos enrolled at Eindhoven University of Technology from 2020 to 2022 to pursue a Master of Science degree in Medical Engineering.

In September 2020, they obtained certification in Basic Life Support + AED training from Maastricht UMC+.
