Evan Huang

Evan Huang has diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Evan is currently working as a Full Stack Data Scientist at Quantifind since October 2022. Prior to this, they were a Data Scientist at Quantifind from April 2019 to February 2022. Evan also has academic experience, having worked as a Masters Student at Stanford University from September 2017 to April 2019. During their time at Stanford, they focused on AI, Stochastic Systems, and Deep Learning, and conducted research on optimizing objective formulas for GAN architecture within constrained systems.

Before Stanford, Evan was involved in teaching and grading roles at the University of Pennsylvania, where they served as a TA for ESE 224: Signals and Information Processing from January 2016 to May 2017, and as a Grader for ESE 303: Stochastic Simulation & Analysis from September 2015 to December 2016.

Evan also gained experience as a Research Intern at AQR Capital Management in the summer of 2016. Finally, Evan started their professional journey as an I.T Portfolio Coordinator Intern at Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. from May 2014 to August 2015. In this role, they were responsible for creating and maintaining information documents for project managers, leading review meetings, and developing algorithms for project prioritization and risk assessment. Overall, Evan has developed a broad skill set in data science, research, teaching, and project management throughout their career.

Evan Huang completed their primary and secondary education at Andover High School from 2010 to 2013. Evan then pursued a Bachelor of Science and Engineering in Systems Sciences and Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania from 2013 to 2017. During the same period, they also obtained a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Afterward, Evan continued their studies at Stanford University from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
