Kurt Anglese

Kurt Anglese is a highly experienced Sr. Principal Mechanical Engineer at Quantinuum, where responsibilities include the design and analysis of custom hardware and mechanisms for ultra-precise optical and imaging systems related to commercial ion-trapped quantum computers. Prior to this role, Kurt held similar positions at Honeywell Quantum Solutions, contributing to advanced quantum information systems, and at Medtronic as a Principal R&D Engineer focusing on new medical technology products. Kurt also served as Lead Engineer at Vestas Turbines R&D, defining requirements for wind turbine drive trains, and has a diverse engineering background that includes roles at B/E Aerospace, Cummins, and CB&I. Kurt holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
