Dan E.

Dan E. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Dan currently holds the position of Executive Manager, Product & Technology (WiQ) at Quantium since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineering Lead, Banking & Wealth at Quantium from March 2020 to October 2021, where they focused on delivering analytics solutions for banking customers at terabyte scale in the cloud.

Before joining Quantium, Dan E. served as the Chief Technology Officer at Ezypay from December 2017 to March 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the technology direction and strategy of the company.

From January 2015 to December 2017, Dan E. worked as a Development Manager at Cammy. Dan managed a team that built cloud-based monitoring and alarm systems using telemetry from IoT devices, primarily internet-connected IP cameras and mobile handsets. They utilized Scala, Node.js, and Python to handle large volumes of security video feeds in real-time.

Prior to Cammy, Dan E. served as a Technical Lead for ABC Open at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from November 2013 to January 2015. During this time, they designed and built distributed systems on AWS, contributing to the delivery of user-friendly platforms for ABC Radio.

Dan E.'s earlier experience includes working as a Senior Engineer at Yahoo from December 2011 to November 2013. Dan focused on multimedia content delivery and systems integration projects, specifically integrating Yahoo!7's enterprise asset management system with Brightcove's content delivery platforms.

Throughout their career, Dan E. has held technical and leadership roles, leveraging their expertise in various technologies to deliver innovative solutions for organizations.

Dan E. completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Charles Sturt University from 1998 to 2001.
