Dewald Ferreira

Dewald Ferreira is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in analytics and actuarial science. Currently serving as the Executive Head of South Africa at Quantium since March 2019, Dewald manages the delivery of predictive analytic solutions across banking, retail, and health sectors. Previously, Dewald worked at Deloitte from October 2012 to January 2017, where responsibilities included establishing a data science team and advising on various actuarial projects within the insurance industry. Earlier roles at Momentum involved financial analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and product development within the actuarial space. Dewald holds dual MBAs from Texas McCombs School of Business and Esade, complemented by a Certificate in Data Science from UC Irvine, as well as a Fellowship in Actuarial Science from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
