Kristen Potter began their work experience in 2016 at Alpha, where they served as a Technical Project Coordinator until October 2018. In October 2018, they joined Quantium as a Business Application Engineer, and later progressed to the role of Senior Business Application Engineer in April 2021. Additionally, in November 2021, they started working at the Australian Electoral Commission as a Voting Centre Officer In Charge.

Kristen Potter attended East Hills Girls Technology High School from 2007 to 2010 and Camden High School in 2011. Kristen did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study at either institution.
