James Kruger

James Kruger is the current Director at Quantum Brilliance. Prior to this, they were with Altor Capital, RedEarth Energy Storage Ltd, and TYMLEZ. From July 2021 to December 2021, they were a Strategy Consultant. Before that, they were with Carbonless Asia and Lava Blue Limited. James has also been with Quantum Brilliance and various companies in the past. From November 2017 to March 2021, they were on Gardening Leave from Macquarie Group. Prior to that, they were with Macquarie Group from February 2000 to June 2017 where they were the Global Head of Legal, Governance & Risk - Macquarie Securities Group.

James Kruger has a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, with a focus in Venture Capital, Equity Capital Markets, and Property Finance. James also has a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Their undergraduate degrees are a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) and LLB from The University of Queensland, and they have a Bachelor of Arts (English Literature) from Brisbane Grammar. James is certified by The Law Society of New Wales as a Legal Practitioner in NSW.
