Lykourgos Bougas

Lykourgos Bougas has a diverse work experience in the field of physics and quantum engineering. Lykourgos is currently working as a Principal Quantum Engineer at Quantum Brilliance since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Researcher and Experimental Physicist at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from September 2015 to April 2022. Lykourgos also had a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Marie Curie Alumni Association from April 2016 to April 2018. Lykourgos worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from January 2014 to August 2015. Lykourgos began their career as a Graduate Researcher and Experimental Physicist at the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) from January 2007 to December 2013.

Lykourgos Bougas has a strong educational background in physics. Lykourgos'sacademic journey began in 2000 at the University of Crete, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. Lykourgos successfully completed this program in 2005. Motivated by their passion for the subject, Bougas continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics in 2006. Lykourgos'scommitment to expanding their knowledge and expertise led him to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physics, which they completed in 2014 at the University of Crete. Overall, Bougas has shown dedication to their field of study, continuously pushing their boundaries and achieving higher levels of education.
