Senior Quantum Engineer at Quantum Brilliance

Pascal Macha has a strong background in quantum computing and engineering. Pascal currently holds the position of Senior Quantum Engineer at Quantum Brilliance, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Silicon Quantum Computing as a Senior Quantum Engineer from September 2022 to December 2022, and as a Multi-Qubit Device Physicist from September 2019 to September 2022. Pascal also had a role as a Senior Research Staff at UNSW from September 2019 to December 2022. Pascal has experience in consulting engineering as a Consulting Engineer at Vipac Engineers & Scientists from August 2018 to August 2019. Pascal also worked at INVENSITY, where they held various roles including Senior Consultant from May 2018 to July 2018, Head of Office and Business Development Manager from May 2017 to April 2018, and Business Consultant from March 2016 to April 2017. Prior to that, Pascal was a Research Fellow at The University of Queensland from July 2013 to January 2015, a Researcher at Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology from September 2009 to February 2013, and a Visiting Researcher at TU Delft from October 2009 to January 2010.

From 2003 to 2009, Pascal Macha attended Friedrich Schiller University Jena where they obtained a Diploma in Physics. Afterwards, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physics at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, in 2006 and 2007, they attended ESPCI Paris - PSL, though it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or field of study during that time.
