QC@UCI was founded during summer 2019 by passionate undergraduate and graduate students from **various** backgrounds. From the very beginning, we aim to connect people from different fields and encourage everyone to learn something new as the inherently interdisciplinary nature of quantum computing and quantum information suggests. Moreover, we hope to stimulate the research and general interest in this topic at UCI.
