Michael Dalton

Michael leads Quantum’s investor relations and fundraising function as well as assisting in multiple facets of the firm’s internal operations and administration, including fund reporting, foreign structuring and General Partner-related management. He has actively participated in Quantum’s investment activities, including due diligence, transaction structuring and execution, portfolio company monitoring and transaction exits, as well as advising on such activities as raising and structuring senior debt and executing commodity hedges. Prior to joining Quantum, he was in the energy investment banking group of Jefferies & Co. (NYSE: “JEF”) where he worked on mergers and acquisitions, corporate debt and equity offerings and asset sales for oil and gas and oil service companies. Previously, he was a financial analyst with the Meridian Resources Corporation (NYSE: “TMR”), where he concentrated on strategic corporate planning and project evaluation. Michael holds a B.S. in Government from the University of Texas.
