Mike Denham

CFO at Quantum Energy Partners

Mike is responsible for Quantum’s financial reporting, tax planning and structuring, risk management and cash management. Additionally, he assists in various legal matters for the private equity funds and general partner related entities. Mike also assists Quantum’s portfolio companies as needed in legal structuring, organizing internal accounting and reporting controls as well as assisting in tax planning, commodity hedges and insurance procurement.

Prior to joining Quantum, Mike was an attorney for Meadows, Owens, Collier, Reed, Cousins & Blau, L.L.P., a corporate and tax boutique law firm. His legal practice involved all aspects of business and tax planning including partnership and limited liability company formation, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. Previously, Mike was a CPA for a private independent oil and gas company where he was responsible for various duties including merger and divestiture advice regarding oil and gas assets. Mike is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association. Additionally, he is a CPA in the state of Texas and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Texas Society of CPAs. He is also a member of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers and the IPAA. Mike holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Midwestern State University, a J.D. with honors from Texas Tech University School of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University.
