Phani Ponnada

Phani Ponnada is a Lead Data Platform Engineer at Quantum Health since December 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator (contractor) at Honda of America Mfg., Inc. from July 2014 to the present. During this time, they designed solutions for high availability and disaster recovery for tier 1 databases. Phani also has experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator (contractor) at Electrolux from October 2013 to June 2014, where they implemented solutions to improve performance and save database storage space. Before that, they worked as a Sql Server Database Administrator (Contractor) at Wells Fargo from May 2012 to September 2013, where they upgraded SQL Server 2005 version databases to SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2. Phani began their career as a Junior Database Administrator at Pace Time Solutions from June 2011 to April 2012, where their responsibilities included database design, maintenance, and deployment of release scripts.

Phani Ponnada received a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Andhra University in 2008. Later, Phani pursued a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University, completing it in 2011. Additionally, Phani has obtained various certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate in 2023 and Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate in 2021.
