Catharine Shipps

Catharine Shipps has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Catharine most recently worked as a Senior Scientist in Biophysics at Quantum-Si since October 2022. Prior to that, they were a Doctoral Candidate at Yale University from August 2017 to October 2022. Catharine also served as an Assistant Aquatics Programmer at the City of Gahanna from May 2016 to August 2017. As a Physics Tutor at OSU NROTC, they provided tutoring services from September 2015 to May 2017. Catharine also worked as a Research Assistant at The Ohio State University from September 2014 to May 2017 and at the University of South Florida from June 2015 to August 2015.

Catharine Shipps began their education in 2009 at Phillips Exeter Academy, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 2013. Catharine then enrolled at The Ohio State University from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. Continuing their academic journey, Catharine joined Yale University in 2017 and is expected to graduate in 2022 with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry.
