Michael Meyer

Michael Meyer began their work experience as a Software Intern at Ion Torrent Systems in 2010. During their time there, they designed algorithms to correct DNA sequencing noise and created software tools to aid in experiments and sequencing runs. In 2011, they joined Cornell University as a Graduate Research Assistant and worked until 2016. In 2017, they joined Quantum-Si as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist and held various roles, including Staff Bioinformatics Scientist and Senior Staff Bioinformatics Scientist. Michael is currently employed at Quantum-Si in the position of Senior Staff Bioinformatics Scientist.

Michael Meyer earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2011. Michael then went on to pursue further education and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computational Biology from Cornell University, where they studied from 2011 to 2016.
