Steve C. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of engineering, specializing in cutting-edge technology and scientific advancements. Steve started their career at 454 Life Sciences, A Roche Company, where they worked as a System Assembly and Testing Technician from July 2005 to June 2010.
After that, Steve joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in June 2010 and held the position of Engineer III / Facilities Lead until October 2019. In this role, they served as the chief service engineer for Ion Torrent R&D lab in Guilford CT, troubleshooting and repairing in-house Ion platforms. Steve also provided remote troubleshooting support to global teams and contributed to technology development. Additionally, Steve was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Guilford facility, including contractor and property management relations, monitoring and maintaining house air and water systems, and performing site enhancements.
Since October 2019, Steve has been employed at Quantum-Si as a Senior Engineer. Steve is involved in fast-paced and cutting-edge research and development of protein sequencing technology. Steve is contributing to advancements in science through next-generation single molecule detection.
Steve C. attended the DoD BMET School from 2005 to 2006, where they received a Department of Defense Accreditation. During this time, they focused on studying medical equipment repair.
