Chengwei Luo

Chengwei Luo is a prominent leader in the biotechnology sector, serving as Founder, President, and CEO of Quantum Sky Inc. since January 2022, where innovative biotech companies are incubated using an advanced AI engine. Additional roles include Founder and Executive Chairman of Jorna Therapeutics, which focuses on next-generation RNA editing tools through synthetic biology and machine learning. Previously, Chengwei was President and CEO of DeepBiome Therapeutics, Inc. from October 2017 to June 2022, and held various research positions at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Harvard Medical School from 2013 to 2017. Chengwei holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a postgraduate degree from Harvard Medical School, and a second postgraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, alongside a Master’s in Condensed Matter Physics from Peking University and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and Automation from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
