Rom Bendvora has worked in the medical field since 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they were an Operative Technician at Assistance Publique-Hopitaux de Paris, where they were responsible for transferring patients, blood, medications, and materials in the maternity and gynecology department. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Biomedical Engineer at Sakra World Hospital, where they worked with the biomedical engineering team on hospital equipment and with the neurology team on imaging technology and medical neurology learnings. Additionally, they assisted with several surgeries. From 2016 to 2019, they were an IT Project Consultant at CGI, where they were responsible for website implementation for the Health Ministry and for synchronizing the client's needs with the engineering team. Since 2021, they have been a Clinical Application Engineer at Quantum Surgical SAS, where they are responsible for theoretical and practical training of surgeons and staff before and during surgery, as well as continuous customer care and product improvement with the R&D and Quality teams.
Rom Bendvora obtained a Diploma of Engineering from ECE. Ecole d'ingénieurs. Engineering School. in 2016, where they studied Santé et Technologies - Biotechnology - Medical Device - Sales. In 2015, they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) from Griffith University, where they studied Industrial Design and Product Design. In 2013, they obtained a Diploma of Engineering from Concordia University, where they studied Project Management.
