Courtney Harkness

Courtney Harkness has almost 20 years of experience in marketing, business development and operations. As COO at Quantum, Courtney oversees all operations, marketing, sales enablement, investor relations and hiring/recruiting activities for the company. She manages high-level contract negotiations, partnerships and vendor relationships, and is also responsible for P&L oversight and execution of strategic growth initiatives.

After a decade of in-house roles with Fortune 500 companies, Courtney spent nearly five years as a Vice President in the technology practice at Edelman, the world’s largest PR firm, before leaving to establish her own marketing consulting firm.

Courtney has also held various marketing and business management roles at CheckFree Corp. (now Fiserv), NCR Corp. and BellSouth International. She began her career as a press coordinator for Georgia Governor Zell Miller.

Courtney holds a B.S. in International Affairs and an M.B.A. from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
