MTS - Controls Engineer at QuantumScape

Alston Correya has work experience in various engineering and teaching roles. In 2019, they started working as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the UW-Madison Mechanical Engineering Department. Alston then became a Graduate Teaching Assistant, providing assistance in multiple courses related to mechatronics and computer control. Concurrently, they served as a Mechatronics Lab Graduate Assistant.

In 2021, Alston worked as an Automation Controls Engineering Intern at Tesla and as a Controls Engineering Intern at LasX Industries, Inc.

Currently, Alston is employed at QuantumScape as an MTS - Controls Engineer, starting in February 2022.

Alston Correya completed their GCE A-levels in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology at St. Mary's Catholic High School in an unspecified year before 2015. From 2015 to 2019, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During this time, they also obtained a Certificate in Manufacturing Engineering from the same university between 2017 and 2019. Following their undergraduate studies, Alston Correya continued their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2019 to 2021.
