Amita Joshi

Amita Joshi is a highly experienced professional in the field of materials science, currently serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at QuantumScape since May 2022. Prior to this role, Amita worked as a Materials and Process Engineer at Applied Materials from January 2019 to April 2022, where the development of UV-curable inorganic materials for AR/VR applications was achieved. Throughout the career, Amita has held various research positions, including a Visiting Researcher at Berkeley Lab, a Postdoctoral Associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at both The University of Texas at Austin and Berkeley Lab. Amita holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Materials Science from University College Dublin, obtained in 2014.
