Deep Jokhakar

Deep Jokhakar is a skilled professional in chemical engineering with extensive experience in battery technology and materials development. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at QuantumScape since September 2021, Deep focuses on developing high energy density cathode formulations and optimizing production methods. Previously, Deep held roles as Battery Engineer II and Battery Development Specialist at BrightVolt, where assessments of materials for electrodes and electrolytes were conducted. A Research Associate at Purdue University, Deep contributed to enhancing solid-state electrolytes and improving anode and cathode materials. Early career experience includes a position at Chemcon Specialty Chemical Pvt. Ltd., where production processes were planned and safety assessments were conducted. Deep completed a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University.
