Goutham Govada

Goutham Govada has a diverse work experience in the field of quality engineering. Goutham started their most recent role as a Senior Quality Engineer at QuantumScape in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Quanergy from 2018 to 2022 in the same role. Their responsibilities included addressing non-conforming material, RMAs, DFM and DFA issues, reviewing quality metrics, and driving resolution of defects using 8D methodology.

Before joining Quanergy, Goutham worked as a Quality Engineer at Sanmina from 2017 to 2018, where they focused on improving manufacturing processes and product quality based on customer requirements. Goutham also has experience as a Summer Research Intern at the Institute of Multiphase Processes, Leibniz Universitat in 2014.

Goutham Govada completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University from 2011 to 2015. Goutham then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University from 2015 to 2016, specializing in Quality Control/Manufacturing Systems.

In addition to their formal education, Goutham also obtained a certification in IASSGB (International Association for Six Sigma Certification) in August 2018.
