Jagdeep Singh

Co-Founder & Board Chairman at QuantumScape

Jagdeep Singh is the current CEO and founder of QuantumScape. Jagdeep has an extensive background in the tech industry, having served as the CEO of three different companies and president of a core switching division. Jagdeep's first company was AirSoft, which they founded in 1992 and ran until 1996. Jagdeep then went on to co-found Lightera Networks in 1998, serving as the company's CEO until 1999 when they took on the role of president of Ciena's Core Switching Division. In 2001, Jagdeep left Ciena to start Infinera, which they ran as CEO until 2009. Jagdeep has been with QuantumScape since 2010.

Jagdeep Singh pursued a Master’s Degree in Computer Science at Stanford University. Jagdeep then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Lastly, they completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
