Kiran Joshi, Ph.D., CSP, currently serves as Chief of Staff in the Office of the CEO and Vice President of EHS, Sustainability, and Training at QuantumScape since June 2022. Kiran has held the position of Vice President of EHSQ at Battery Development since July 2020 and served as Senior Director of EHS at Energy Storage Company from April 2014 to July 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing all EHS functions and program development. Prior experience includes Director of EHS at Alta Devices, where Kiran managed environmental health and safety systems for a Gallium Arsenide facility, and EH&S roles at Solyndra, focusing on safety programs for solar manufacturing. Kiran began a career at Applied Materials as Engineering Manager, supporting various business units in EHS responsibilities. Kiran holds a Ph.D. in Organometallic Chemistry and a BSc and MSc in Biophysical Chemistry and Organometallic Chemistry from The University of British Columbia.
