Murugan Ramaswamy is currently a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) at QuantumScape Corporation, where they lead a team in the development of novel electrolytes and oversee the industrial-scale production of separators for solid-state lithium metal batteries. Previously, Murugan served as a Professor of Physics at Pondicherry University and directed the Department of Science, Technology & Environment in Puducherry, India. With extensive international experience as a visiting scholar and researcher in Japan, Taiwan, and the USA, they have published over 150 research papers and hold several patents related to solid electrolytes for all-solid-state batteries. Murugan has collaborated with prominent researchers and industrial partners, significantly advancing the field of energy storage technology.
