Eloïse Brocas is currently a Security R&D Engineer at Quarkslab, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to their current role, they were a Security Research Intern at Quarkslab and a Student Internship at Stamus Networks, a position they held from 2019 to 2021. During their time at Stamus Networks, they implemented a bpftool wrapper to handle eBPF maps in Python3, which was developed to be used in Suricata, an open source network threat detection engine and intrusion detection and prevention system.
Eloïse Brocas began their educational journey in 2016 when they attended the Université de Bordeaux and completed the Cycle Préparatoire de Bordeaux. In 2016 they also completed their Baccalauréat Scientifique at Lycée Montesquieu, Bordeaux. In 2018, Eloïse Brocas began their Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering at ENSEIRB-MATMECA and obtained their TOEIC certification from ETS in January 2020. Eloïse then completed their Master of Computer Engineering at Università di Pisa in 2020 and is currently still pursuing their Engineer's degree at ENSEIRB-MATMECA, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
