James Aquilina is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law. Currently serving as a partner at Quarles & Brady LLP since September 2019, James contributes to various practice groups including Patent, Trademark, Copyright, Consumer Products, and Sports and Entertainment. In parallel, James is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), involving participation in committees focused on non-traditional marks and design rights. Notably, James represented INTA at the World Intellectual Property Organization's Standing Committee on the Law of Trademarks. Previously, James chaired the Industrial Designs Committee at the American Intellectual Property Law Association and held significant positions at Design IP and Rubin, Fortunato & Harbison P.C. James holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University, complemented by participation in the Executive Leadership Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
