Denise Martens

Denise Martens, CPHR has accumulated diverse HR experience throughout their career. Denise started as a Learning Facilitator at Lifetouch in 2008 and then transitioned to various roles at Federated Co-operatives Limited, including HR Technology Project Lead, Learning and Development Manager, and Director, Talent Practices. Denise later moved on to IRD as Director People, Performance and Culture before taking on the role of Talent+ Director at Quarterhill Inc.

Denise Martens, CPHR attended the University of Saskatchewan from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a degree in Commerce with a focus on Human Resources. Denise also earned a Certificate in Christian Studies from Canadian Mennonite University in 2001-2002. In 2021, they obtained the CPHR certification from Chartered Professionals in Human Resources Saskatchewan. Additionally, they have attended training programs such as Devlearn 2012 and Lominger LA101.
