Kanisha Bortey

Kanisha Bortey has a diverse work experience in various industries. Kanisha began their career as an intern at TSN, where they worked in brand partnerships and sport activations. Kanisha then joined Nike as an Athlete, focusing on sales. After that, Kanisha took on the role of Director of Operations and Logistics at Northern Events Co. In 2019, they became a Basketball Trainer at the International Basketball & Sports Academy (IBSA Basketball) and also worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Brafasco. During their time at Brafasco, they were responsible for coordinating marketing efforts and later transitioned into the role of Sales Support Specialist. Kanisha's most recent experiences include working as a Raptors Basketball Academy Coach at MLSE and a Marketplace Account Manager at Quartermaster Inc.

Kanisha Bortey's education history begins with their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, which they completed between 2012 and 2016. The field of study for their undergraduate degree was Art/Art Studies, General. Following this, they pursued further education at George Brown College, where they obtained a Post-Graduate degree in Sport and Event Marketing. Kanisha completed this program between 2017 and 2018.
