Michael Foulkes

Michael Foulkes is the Co-Founder of QuarterOne. Michael has over 10 years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to QuarterOne, they were the Chief Financial Officer for Black Swan Data, a UK-based technology startup. Michael was responsible for leading Series A, B and C funding rounds, generating over £15m GBP in new equity. Michael also managed the expansion of business to US, Canada, Singapore, Hungary, South Africa & Australia with over 270 staff globally.

Before Black Swan Data, Michael was the Senior Finance Manager for Velti, the world's largest mobile marketing company. Michael was responsible for the financial management of UK Digital Agency and Benelux Mobile Payments business.

Prior to Velti, Michael worked as the lead project accountant for Mobile Interactive Group (MIG), winner of Deloitte Fast 50 and Deloitte Fast 500 EMEA.

Michael began their career as an Audit Senior with Carter Backer Winter LLP (CBW).

Michael is a Certified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of London.

Michael Foulkes has an ACA from the ICAEW and a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham. Michael also has a certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) in Chartered Accountant.
