David Gaytan

David Gaytan has several years of work experience in various roles within the IT industry. David started their career as a Network Operations Center Technician at NSN Data Center and Zogmo, where they provided support to colocation customers and monitored data center infrastructure. David then became an IT Manager at Zogmo, where they managed IT operations for a large auto dealer in Tomball, Texas. During this role, they deployed wireless access points and created payroll automation scripts. After this, David worked as a Network Operations Center Manager at Lakota Data Center, where they managed the NOC employees and collaborated with ARIN to obtain ASN and provider-independent address space. David also worked with data center customers to migrate IP addresses to a new network. Most recently, David has been working at Quasar Data Center, where they have held multiple roles. David started as a Network Operations Center Manager, overseeing the network operations of the company. David then transitioned to the role of Network Manager, where they ensured maximum network uptime, deployed the Cisco Virtual Switch System, and upgraded existing connections to 10Gbps with ISP's. Currently, David holds the position of Chief Information Officer at Quasar Data Center.

David Gaytan received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology - Network Administration from Western Governors University, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they hold several certifications from VMware and Cisco, including VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Data Center Virtualization Design 2020, VMware Certified Implementation Expert - Data Center Virtualization 2020, VMware Certified Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization, VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5 - Data Center Administration (VCAP5-DCA), VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV), CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional: Routing and Switching, CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional: Service Provider, and CCNP - Cisco Certified Networking Professional: Enterprise.
