Founded in 1990 in the municipality of Teodoro Sampaio in São Paulo, Quatá manufactures and sells dairy-based products to wholesaler, retail, industrial and food service businesses outside the home – a market known as food service. The company's headquarters are currently located in the West Zone of São Paulo, where the corporate office and distribution center are located.
 
The company already has 7 manufacturing units installed in 4 states of the country: 2 in São Paulo, in the municipalities of Teodoro Sampaio and Bom Jesus dos Perdões; 1 in Paraná, in Mercedes; 1 in Rio de Janeiro, in Itaperuna; and 3 in Minas Gerais, in the municipalities of Vazante, Douradoquara and Campo Belo.
 
Since its foundation, Quatá meets the most varied demands of the market, always working to develop new products, maintaining the high standard of quality, a strong characteristic of the company.
