Melissa McNeal Adams, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Melissa McNeal is currently serving as the Assistant Vice President - HR Client Services at Quatrro Business Support Services since March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Human Resources for the Not-For-Profit sector at the same company from June 2021 to March 2022.

From November 2019 to March 2022, Melissa worked as the Human Resources Manager at Near North Montessori School. Melissa McNeal was responsible for managing HR functions during their tenure.

Melissa also has experience serving on the Board of Directors for Snow City Arts, a non-profit organization focused on providing arts education to hospitalized children. Melissa McNeal held the position of Director on the Board from January 2014 to May 2020.

In August 2018, Melissa joined Maple & Ash as the Director of People and Culture, where they contributed their expertise in HR and organizational culture until November 2019.

From September 2014 to July 2018, Melissa worked as the HR Director at The MIS Department, Inc., where they played a pivotal role in HR management.

Melissa has a background in non-profit and community organizing as well. In 2014, they served as the Director of the OFA Community Organizing Institute at Organizing for Action, engaging millions of volunteers in supporting policies voted for in 2012.

Prior to that, Melissa was involved in city planning and economic growth initiatives at World Business Chicago as a Program Coordinator with the Plan for Economic Growth & Jobs Implementation from July 2012 to January 2014.

Melissa's work experience also includes positions at The White House, where they served as the Director of the White House Internship Program from January 2010 to June 2011 and as the Assistant Director of Presidential Correspondence from January 2009 to January 2010.

Before their time at The White House, Melissa played a key role in the Obama-Biden Transition Project as the Volunteer Coordinator from November 2008 to January 2009, and in Obama for America as the Training Director, Regional Field Director, and Field Organizer from 2007 to 2008.

Melissa McNeal Adams, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor's of Music degree in Music Education. Melissa McNeal began their education journey at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1994, where they studied Musical Theatre before transferring to the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1995. At UW-Madison, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Music Education in 1999.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Melissa obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification in July 2016 from SHRM.
