Michael Heister

Michael Heister is a legal professional with extensive experience in environmental law and litigation. Currently serving as the Managing Member at Quattlebaum, Grooms & Tull PLLC since February 2013, Michael previously held the position of Special Counsel at Baker Botts LLP where involvement included advising clients on civil and administrative disputes, emphasizing litigation and complex environmental matters. Prior to this, Michael worked as a Trial Attorney in the Environmental Defense Section of the United States Department of Justice, defending federal agencies in environmental claims. Michael also gained experience as a Clerk to the Hon. Richard S. Arnold at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Michael holds a JD from the University of Arkansas School of Law and a BA in Psychology from Vanderbilt University.
