Bernhard Ritzer has extensive work experience in brand and sports marketing. Bernhard currently holds the position of Marketing Director at GKA Kite World Tour. Prior to this, they founded and owned 1080 Marketing - Brand, Sport, Sustainability, where they provided consultancy services for international federations and events, developed new sports concepts, and worked on brand strategy and visual identities. Bernhard also served as the Head of Sports Marketing at quattro media GmbH, where they curated a diverse portfolio of adventure, outdoor, and action sports. Bernhard has worked at O'Neill in various roles, including Global Brand Director, Director Global Sports Marketing, Global Event Manager, European Sponsoring Manager, and Marketing Manager Germany. Bernhard'swork involved managing the brand's strategic position, sport marketing, and content marketing. Bernhard also worked as a Marketing Manager at Oxbow SA.

Bernhard Ritzer attended Maria-Theresia-Gymnasium München from 1979 to 1987, where they obtained their Abitur. Bernhard then pursued a degree in Physical Engineering and graduated as a Graduate Engineer from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences in 1995.
