Chris Turpin

Chris Turpin is an accomplished network engineering professional with extensive experience in high-performance computing and network infrastructure. Currently serving as the HPC Network Engineering Team Lead at Qube Research & Technologies since January 2025, Chris previously held positions including Senior Network Engineer at G-Research and Network and Cloud Engineer at Nomura. Chris's career features significant roles in network design and architecture at major companies such as Sky, Vodafone, Thomson Reuters, Telstra, AAPT, and Everlogic, where responsibilities included managing large-scale projects, designing high-bandwidth networks, and implementing advanced network solutions. Chris holds an MPhys 2:1 in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Newcastle University.
