Patrick Derreal

Patrick Derreal is currently serving as the Quantitative Technology Director at Qube Research & Technologies since February 2021. Prior to this, Patrick held various leadership roles at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB) from October 2004 to February 2021, including Head of Technical Architecture for Capital Markets, where responsibilities included defining and promoting technology strategy, leading the technical architects team, and contributing to code and production within projects. Patrick also served as Business Line Technical Architect for Fixed Income, Forex, and Commodities markets, and as Technical Architect for Trading Systems, focusing on trading software development and optimization for high-frequency automation. Earlier roles included software development at Safran Aircraft Engines and a software development internship at GE Healthcare, where Patrick developed a segmentation algorithm for lung cancer detection. Education includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from ESIEE Paris and a Master's degree in Image Analysis and Processing from Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée.
