Florin Labou

Florin Labou has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years in the field of IT. Florin started their career at Nethrom in 1995, where they worked as a Software Analyst Programmer specializing in Progress 7.x - 8.x. After that, they joined ISDC as a Software Analyst Programmer from 2000 to 2001.

In 2001, Florin Labou joined Kanteff B.V. as a Software Analyst Programmer, working with Progress 8.x - 9.x, Webservices, and XML. Florin continued working with Kanteff B.V. in various roles, including Contractor, Software Analyst Programmer, and Contractor, Software Architect and Programmer, until 2006.

From 2003 to 2013, Florin Labou ran their own company called Florin Labou ICT Services, where they served as the owner and IT consultant. During this time, they gained valuable experience in managing their own business and providing consulting services to clients.

In 2006, they worked as a Contractor, Software Architect and Programmer at Binsoft B.V., where they focused on .NET 1.x and ASP. After that, they joined Intersolve Technologies as a Contractor, Software Consultant, utilizing their skills in .NET 2.0, Webservices, and ASP.

Florin Labou returned to Intersolve in 2009, this time as a Senior Software Developer, working with .NET, AJAX, T-SQL, SSRS, and SOA. Florin later became the R&D Manager in 2014, leading SCRUM teams in the development and delivery process, stimulating research and innovation, and mentoring team members on their professional growth.

Currently, Florin Labou is working as a Technical Manager at Qubiz, starting in June 2020.

Florin Labou has a Master's Degree in Economics from Universitatea "Babeș-Bolyai" din Cluj-Napoca, which they obtained from 1992 to 1997. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1992, they attended Liceul Teoretic Zalau, where they studied Mathematics and Physics.

In addition to their formal education, Florin Labou has obtained several certifications. In November and December 2019, they completed various courses on Coursera, including "Influencing People," "Leading Teams," "Managing Talent," and "Inspiring and Motivating Individuals." Florin also acquired the "AVG (GDPR) Privacy Awareness" certification from Intersolve in November 2019, as well as the "Security awareness social engineering" certification from the same institution in October 2019.
