Sylvie Lalande

Sylvie Lalande is Vice-Chair of the Board and Chief Director of the Company and Chair of the Board of Directors of TVA Group Inc.

Ms. Lalande has held various management positions in the fields of media, marketing, marketing communications and corporate communications. She was Head of Communications for Bell Canada until October 2001. From 1994 to 1997, she was President and CEO of the UBI Consortium established to design and operate interactive and transactional communications services for cable companies. From 1987 to 1994, she held various senior management positions at Groupe TVA inc. and at Le Groupe Vidéotron ltée. Madame Lalande began her career in radio and then set up her own consulting firm. In 2006, Ms. Lalande obtained a university certification in corporate governance from the College of Corporate Directors of Laval University (“CAS”).

Ms. Lalande is also Vice-Chair of the Board and Chief Director of Quebecor Media Inc., Chair of the Human Resources and Corporate Governance Committee of Quebecor Inc., Quebecor Media Inc. and TVA Group Inc. and director of Videotron ltée.

From November 2013 to September 2017, Ms. Lalande was chair of the CAS board. From April 2017 to December 2019, she was Chair of the Board of Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins.
