Douglas Summers

Douglas Summers is an Associate Planner at Queen Anne's County Government since February 2022, responsible for the technical review of land development applications through document and property assessment analysis. Prior experience includes a role at Baltimore County as Locksmith/Building Operations Unit from January 2008 to February 2022, where Douglas managed lock systems, conducted maintenance, and participated in large-scale lock upgrade projects. Douglas also served as a Nuisance Flood Plan Intern for the City of Baltimore, focusing on comprehensive flood plan development and stakeholder communication. Previous roles include GIS Intern at the Community College of Baltimore County and Law Enforcement Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Douglas holds a degree in Environmental Sustainability & Human Ecology from the University of Baltimore, a certificate in Environmental Education from Cornell University, and studies in Geographic Information Systems & Civil Engineering from the Community College of Baltimore County.
